Supplemental Medical
Supplemental medical insurance can help protect you from significant healthcare expenses. In fact, depending on your situation, you may be able to save money by adding a supplemental plan to a lower cost medical plan. Be sure to consider your anticipated medical needs for the coming year—for example, a major surgery—and the cost of the insurance plans available to you.
Kindred offers three different types of supplemental medical insurance. You can choose any combination of the following:
Supplemental medical plans are intended to supplement your primary medical plan. On their own, they do not provide the minimum level of medical coverage needed to meet Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements.
